    • 3rd Explorer and still happy

This is my third Explorer and I still love it. I drive about 25,000 a year with a heavy foot and typically drive my cars to the ground. In 4 months I’ve owned it, I already put 12,000 miles and fortunately zero issues, it’s swerving capabilities are still good, I enjoy the assisted driving, the sound from the speakers are clean and clear. It’s actually pretty quiet.

    • Love it but the mechanical problems are an issue

My transmission needed to be replaced in less than 12 months with under 20k on it......How can an SUV that's been in production for this long have an issue that seems to repeat itself year in and year out? I think the "Dial" for the gears vs a standard "shift" is a bad idea and could be contributing to the transmission issues.......Love the looks, the engine, function etc but needing a new transmission that early is a MAJOR red flag
